After changing his engineering career back in 2015, he jumped on production sets starting freelancing in various departments with global service production companies, providing outstanding, effective, fast and professional support. Over a decade now, he has developed and nurtured trustful networks globally. Known for trustworthiness, professionalism, calmness, focus and reliability, he got invited to work on variety of corporate projects among leading service productions, agencies and top brand campaigns with highly experienced crews of directors, producers and clients across Europe all the way to Australia.

Mario is passionate about nature, surfing, snowboarding, music, books, culture and traveling. These passions led him to write, produce and direct his first independent short film in Queensland and New South Wales, called ‘1010‘. Film passed several official international festival selections. In June 2024, the project received an award for Best Cinematography during PISFF (Paris International Short Film Festival).

Mario is a primarily producer and director of photography, he runs a media service production/fixer "SIGNATURE.FILM" based in Lisbon, Portugal.
